Why Yvette Alexandre and LaShay Waiters Memorial Foundation, Inc.?

 

My husband and I decided to continue to give back to the community like our children did while attending college and working at the YMCA in Orlando. 

 

We wanted to offer these scholarships and other programs to help encourage young people and show them that they can be successful. They just need the right support and encouragement. 

 

Our foundation invites young adults and children from all walks of life to participate in these programs once they become available. We know that children are our future, so why not invest in them? Let us continue to unite and give hope while strengthening each other, as well as spreading love throughout our communities and the world.
