Scholarship Information

Award scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to be gifted to (1) cultured and dynamic young woman and (1) cultivated and distinguished young man to be paid directly to the College or University of acceptance.

Please read the information carefully and complete the application requirements thoroughly. Incomplete scholarship applications may be grounds for disqualification.

The Items listed below are mandatory scholarship application requirements.

1. Copy of State ID (please redact DOB, social security numbers and ID numbers)
2. Copy of Standardized ACT or SAT Score Report.  See Examples 
3. Copy of transcript.
4. One to two letter(s) of recommendation.
5. You must have at least one acceptance letter from a college or university to be included with the completed application.
6. Include the seven completed questions from the YALWMF scholarship application.
7. Include a 400 - 800 word essay explaining your motivation for applying for the scholarship, the reason for pursuing the degree, and how it relates to future studies or career goals. It is important that the essay is clear, concise, grammatically correct and properly punctuated. Consider this an opportunity to detail the reasons why you believe that you should be awarded the scholarship.
